Former Presidential candidate Joseph Kabuleta has joined the list of candidates that have reject the presidential election results. Kabuleta claims that the results announced by the Electoral Commission Chairperson Justice Simon Byabakama do not represent the voices of Ugandans that turned up to vote.

According to Kabuleta, the declared results were ‘cooked’ by officials at the Electoral Commission tally center hence labelling Byabakama ‘the highest paid news anchor.’

On the issue of reconciling with President Yoweri Museveni,  Kabuleta said he cannot work with him even if he appoints him the Vice President. He says Museveni has always made his opponents look dense once he gives them positions.

“The only capacity I can serve is presidency. I cannot work with these thieves. I am a man of integrity. There are very many people who joined this government with good intentions and everyone knows how it will end,” says Kabuleta.
