Last week Bobi Wine asked Chief Justice Owiny-Dollo among other two justices to recuse themselves from his election petition hearing sighting conflict of interest.

According to Bobi Wine, Chief Justice Owiny Dollo was Museveni’s defense Lawyer in 2006, Mike Chibita was Museveni’s private Secretary for 7 years and Ezekiel Muhanguzi is a close relative to the Security Minister Gen. Elly Tumwine.

That aside, Supreme Court set March 18 2021 as the date to deliver judgment in the presidential election petition. According to Chief Justice Owiny-Dollo, the hearing will be mainly conducted through written submissions due to time constraints.
