Bobi Wine becomes first Ugandan personality, brand to hit 2 million followers on Facebook

Since joining active politics in 2017 when he stood for the Kyadondo East parliamentary seat in a by-election, Bobi Wine real name Robert Kyagulanyi’s social media numbers have been overwhelmingly rising.

The presidential hopeful has gained a massive following both locally and internationally. Yesterday the NUP leader became the first Ugandan personality and brand/organization to hit 2Million followers on Facebook.

To be exact, he has 2,027,883 followers and his closest challengers are comedian Anne Kansiime and Kakande Ministries with 1.9 million and 1,925,210 respectively.

Earlier this year, Bobi Wine hit another social media milestone as he became the second most followed personality in Uganda on Twitter behind President Yoweri Museveni.
