Whenever high profile murders happen in Uganda, President Yoweri Museveni usually addresses the attackers as ‘pigs’ that will be easily eliminated.

He said the same on Maj Mohammad Kiggundu (two years ago). · Kirumira murder (Six months ago), Joan Kagezi (Four years ago), Andrew Felix Kaweesi (two years ago) and Suzan Magara murder (one year ago) among others.

Yesterday following the assassination attempt on former Army Commander Gen Katumba Wamala, Museveni furiously once again termed the attackers as ‘pigs’ who do not value life.

“We shall defeat the criminals as we did in the past. We already have clues to those killers. Besides, the new system of digital beacons on all vehicles and Boda Bodas will eliminate the misuse of vehicles and Boda Bodas to commit crimes,” said Museveni.

FDC through their official twitter page has comically responded to Museveni’s comments saying; “Let’s leave the pigs on the lusaaniya, and use political will to investigate all murders under your regime.”
