Police officer stabbed in the stomach by motorcyclist for impounding his bike

The recent weeks have seen police together with other security agencies intensify operations in a move to implement several directives intended to stop the spread of the deadly COVID-19.


Curfew is one of restrictions Police has been implementing and several boda bodas and vehicles have been impounded in the due course.


Sad news coming in indicates that a Police officer was stabbed by a suspect yesterday during an operation.

ASP Luke Owesigyire says,Police Constable Menjah Ismail while in line of duty enforcing curfew, impounded a motorcycle at Kibuye roundabout.
