President Yoweri Museveni yesterday announced that the country will return to stricter lockdown measures in the face of a sharp rise in COVID-19 cases that indicate the virus is “surging again” in almost all parts of the country.

Museveni said when he addressed the country three weeks ago, only 61 districts had significant spread of the virus but as of June 16, 108 districts are showing high levels of cases.
