The car they were moving in was also badly damaged.

Olanya is the third MP to be involved in an accident in a space of just a week. Over the weekend, Buhweju County Member of Parliament Hon. Francis Mwijukye was involved in a life threatening accident.

The accident happened at Buwama in Mpigi District along Masaka – Kampala road where his car reportedly knocked four people.

Still over the weekend, Opposition Chief Whip MP John Baptist Nambeshe survived being lynched after being involved in a car accident that left one person badly injuried.
