Police OC in Mbarara killed by assailants armed with a gun and pangas while on patrol, gun stolen

Unknown assailants armed with a gun and machete have killed the OC Ruharo Police post in Mbarara, Richard Agaba, according to local radio Crooze FM.

Reports indicates that Agaba was murdered while on duty in the wee hours of today- Wednesday. The yet to be identified thugs shot at him before taking off with his gun.

The deceased was rushed to Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital where he died upon arrival at 3:00am.
