The Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) has urged religious leaders not to shy away from preaching about critical issues of governance during Christmas festival sermons.

While addressing a press conference at the party headquarters in Najjanankumbi, FDC Deputy spokesperson John Kikonyogo challenged religious leaders to shame and deny corrupt government officials front seats during Christmas prayers.

Kikonyogo said that it’s time religious leaders joined the front of fighting corruption in the country by directly addressing the corrupt officials who will attend prayers and also warn those occupying public offices not to be tempted.
