What motorists should expect under the new Express Penalty System and speed limit reforms as speeding fines are harmonised to Shs160,000 and payment window extended to 28 days from 72 hours

Josephine Kasato, the President of the Mother’s Union has urged men to fully empower their wives and children to take over family affairs and businesses so that families don’t perish after men die.

While speaking in an interview this morning on a local television, Kasato noted that some women have been barriers to themselves, with many out there not believing in themselves or not seeing value in themselves, yet they have the most authority.

“Women have the most authority on this planet. I don’t mean the kind of authority most people know, like the power in offices or being feared. I am talking about women’s responsibilities and their ability to do all the work they do, “said kasato.

She went ahead and condemned the acts of some women who don’t want to see other women progress.

“It is unfortunate that women try hard to drag fellow women down and that’s the biggest challenge we have in our communities. Most women don’t want to see other women happy so we have to be careful who we let in our lives as women,” Josephine Kasato.

She added that God created women with the same capabilities, and no one is less or more but some women are always complaining about everything.

Kasato also revealed that women are limited by their husbands.

“Some men feel threatened when their wives have money but they don’t know the capacity a working independent woman has towards family building and development. Imagine an old woman has to ask for permission from her husband to go for burial and there’s a possibility that he can say no,” said Kasato.

She noted that there are some people who are always negative-minded, they don’t see good in anything women do yet women love to be praised.

“When you don’t get anyone to praise you, do it yourself. Be your own fan,” Kasato said.

She also urged men to fully empower their wives and children to take over family affairs and businesses if they don’t want their families to perish after the death of a man.

“Do you know why families perish after family heads die? It is because the man in a home never fully empowered the wife and children to take over family affairs and businesses, “Kasato said.

She stated that men should know that what makes a man great is the strength of his woman.

“Men, after you’ve done all the support, love, respect, and defended your wife, do not create space for negative people to insult or demotivate your wife. Women get more inspired with the strength to keep moving when they are flattered and defended by their husbands. Own each other’s mistakes,”Kasato said.

She further advised women to make it easy for men to defend and support them. Adding that there shouldn’t be a woman who is always at the receiving end, manipulative, or someone who doesn’t add value to the men because a man will have nowhere to start defending them.

She concluded by advising women to stop being so disrespectful, arrogant, and intolerant in all possible ways to their men.
