Airtel Uganda outgoing Marketing Boss Remmie Kisakye takes over as new CEO of Buganda Kingdom’s Majestic Brands

Seasoned marketing guru Remmie Kisakye has been appointed as the new CEO of Buganda Kingdom’s Majestic Brands Limited (MBL).

Remmie’s new role will task her to steer leadership and strategy direction for MBL.

The appointment was announced by the Katikiro of Buganda, Owek. Charles Peter Mayiga and the Board Chairman MBL, Omukungu Robert Nsereko.

Remmie takes on her new mantle with over fifteen years of experience in marketing strategy, communications, brand and product management, advertising and publicity, media sales and buying as well as stakeholder relations.
Remmie has recently plied her trade in telecom as the Marketing Director at Airtel Uganda, and has held different roles in the media, real estate and FMCG sectors.

Majestic Brands was established by the Buganda Kingdom to undertake innovation and competitive activities to harness the Buganda brand for the benefit of the kingdom’s people.

The kingdom’s premier welcomed Remmie to Buganda Kingdom and wished her success as she takes on the task ahead of her.
The affluent Katikiro emphasized that he is confident that Kisakye is a good fit for the organization.

Kisakye is a chartered marketer with the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK, holding an Msc in Marketing. She also doubles as a member of the Uganda Marketer’s Society (UMS), American Marketing Association (AMA) and the Digital Marketing Institute (DMI).
