Nampiima said that the YY Coaches registration number UBG 463C was headed to Kampala from Mbale. She faulted the bus driver for overspeeding, hence failing to negotiate the corner at the roundabout.

The incident comes a few days after another bus belonging to Global Buses overturned in Lweera injuring three people.
