Police spokesperson Fred Enanga has confirmed that their team headed by Commissioner Gender and Sexual Based Violence is actively investigating the incident where students were captured on camera performing erotic lap dances and inappropriate sexual behavior.

In a video that has since gone viral, female students are seen rubbing themselves onto their seated male counterparts and seem to be following the beat of the loud music played on the bus.

The students were being transported in a bus that belonged to Midland High School.

According to Enanga, they have established that the management of Lubiri High School hired a school bus from Midland High School to transport a group of students to the Agricultural Show in Jinja.

“As our inquiries continue into the incident involving school students on the Midland bus, we want to use this opportunity to remind students that they are expected to behave at school or outside school,” said Enanga while addressing the weekly police briefing at Naguru.

Enanga urged schools to reactivate their supervision plans in internal and external learning environments.
