Former Kazo MP dies in accident along the Northern Bypass

Gordon Bafaki, the former Kazo Member of Parliament (MP), has died in a road accident on the Northern Bypass in Kampala.

The fatal accident occurred in the wee hours of Wednesday.

According to police, Bafaki was driving a Toyota Land Cruiser TX registration number UBD 965E which crashed with a trailer registration number KBZ539Z/ZC8776.

The driver of the trailer, Kahagi John Kinuthia, is being held at Kiwatule Police Station while Bafaki’s body was taken to Mulago City Mortuary for a postmortem.

Bafaki replaced Eng. John Nasasira as Kazo MP in the 2016 elections before he lost to Dan Kimosho in 2021.
