President Yoweri Museveni’s convoy has knocked down a boda boda cyclist carrying two passengers along the Northern Bypass.
According to eyewitness accounts, the incident happened at around midday as one of the cars in the presidential motorcade knocked three people on the boda boda.
The injured people have been rushed to Mulago and Mengo hospitals, according to Special Forces Command(SFC) spokesperson, Maj Dennis Omara.
“We are monitoring their condition and we shall make sure they are given the required medical attention. We shall make sure they get out of hospital well,” Omara is quoted by Nile Post.
However, Omara warned motorists against disrespecting the presidential convoy and its right of way.
