One dead, six injured in Masaka Road accident

This morning, police in Mpigi registered a fatal accident at Kavule swamp along the Kampala-Masaka highway involving a motor vehicle with registration number UBE 141A (Fuso fighter) that was loaded with matooke and was traveling from the Masaka side heading to Kampala.

According to police, the motor vehicle overturned and fell on the lane from Kampala to Masaka, where they found a Toyota Noah registration number UAZ 401K (blue in color) was brushed on the sides of the driver’s side in the process of sliding.

So far, one female adult has been confirmed dead and around six victims have been rushed to Double Cure hospital for first aid treatment.
