Uganda’s ambassador to Kenya is dead

Uganda’s ambassador to Kenya and Seychelles, Dr. Hassan Galiwango has died. He died this morning at the Nairobi Hospital in Kenya.

Reports indicate that Dr. Galiwango has been ill for a while. Last week, he was airlifted to Nairobi Hospital in critical condition.

Dr. Galilwango worked as a party mobilizer and director of finance and administration for the National Resistance Movement until 2021, when President Museveni appointed him Uganda’s ambassador to Kenya and Seychelles, succeeding Phibby Otaala.
