Bobi Wine’s documentary to premiere in New York City

Bobi Wine, the renowned singer turned politician, has announced the premiere of his documentary titled “Bobi Wine: The People’s President” in New York City on July 27. The documentary, directed by Moses Bwayo and Christopher Sharp, will be showcased at the prestigious New York Central Park.

Capturing the story of Bobi Wine, the film delves into his rise from humble beginnings to stardom, as well as his transformative journey in the realm of active politics. From his upbringing in the Kamwokya slum, the documentary portrays the inspiring tale of a young boy defying all odds to become a celebrated figure.

“Bobi Wine: The People’s President” sheds light on the charismatic artist’s ability to captivate hearts not only in Uganda but also worldwide through his music and political endeavours. Additionally, it emphasizes the pressing governance challenges faced by Uganda and Bobi Wine’s determination to lead the nation into a better future.
