Lead Pastor Aloysius Bugingo of the House of Prayer Ministries has been shot by unknown gunmen in Namungona.
According to sources, the pastor was shot while on his way home.
Reports indicate that Bugingo was with another person in the car who is said to have immediately succumbed to bullet wounds. The deceased is reported to have been his bodyguard.
The pastor is currently admitted at Mulago Hospital.
The motive behind the attack on Pastor Bugingo is not yet known, as police are yet to issue a statement.
