Buganda Princess, Katrina Sarah Ssangalyambogo has opened up to her Tiktok fans on the struggles of living with dyslexia.

The 20 -year-old Princess revealed how kids at school used to laugh at the way she used to spell words at school.

“Kids at school used to laugh at the way I spelt things not knowing I have dyslexia,” said the Princess.

She further explained how dyslexia has no cure though revealed how she now deals with the situation.

“Dyslexia doesn’t go away it’s something that you just get better at handling. When I was younger I really struggled to tell the difference between a ‘b’ and a ‘ and d’, and words that had them. But now I use things like auto correct, Grammarly and simply speaking into my phone so I don’t get the spelling wrong,” revealed the princess.

Dyslexia is a general term for disorders that involve difficulty in learning to read or interpret words, letters, and other symbols, but that do not affect general intelligence.

The revelation comes as a shock to many as the Princess has in the past won accolades for her exceptional swimming skills and has been to the best schools. She’s currently studying at the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom.

Ssangalyambogo is a very good swimmer, in 2009, she won three gold medals and a bronze in the National Junior Swimming Championship that was hosted in Nairobi, Kenya.

She is an ardent soccer lover and supports English Club Manchester United. In 2017 during a tour of the Club’s home ground Old Trafford, Ssangalyambogo was officially registered by the club with a membership number of 4928387.

Ssangalyambogo was born to his royal highness the Kabaka of Buganda, Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II and his official wedded wife Slyvia Nagginda.
