The Entebbe Club had gone into the return leg of their Johnnie Walker Blue Label-sponsored challenge against the Uganda Golf Club counterparts boasting a one-point lead from the first leg, but they would get the bitter end of the stick when the action climaxed at Kitante last Saturday.

UGC’s 27.5 points on the day turned out to be a stretch too far for their Entebbe counterparts to match, with the Entebbe Club only managing 14.5 points in the second leg of the inter-club contest that had pitted Uganda’s two leading golf clubs against each other  at Kitante Golf Course.
