KCCA FC beat Paidha Black Angels 2-0 today at the Greenlight Stadium in Arua to claim their first-ever League and Cup double after 54 years of trying. Goals by Geoffrey Serunkuma and Derrick Nsibambi gave the Kasasiro Boys a deserved win and a place in history. Until today, SC Villa and Express FC were the only other Ugandan football sides to have done the double.

The triumph continues a phenomenal season for KCCA, in which the club defended the league title, become the first Ugandan club to make it to the group stages of a Caf competition, and now clinched the Uganda Cup.
