Serunkuuma, Okwi and Muhammad Shaban in race for MVP of the season 2016/17

The 2016/17 Azam Uganda Premier League awards has this morning been officially launched  at Mandela National stadium, Namboole in presence of football stake holders. The awards are intended to celebrate and award the season’s top performers.

For the top award of the Most Valuable Player, the race will have league top scorer Geoffrey Serunkuuma from Champions KCCA FC, promising talent and Onduparaka captain Muhammad Shaban and SC Villa’s Emmanuel Okwi.

Serunkuuma seems favourite to take the day having been extremely exceptional this  season scoring vital goals for his club. The winner will drive away in  a brand new Subaru Forester UAB 409V. The awards gala will be held on 26th July 2017 at Imperial Royale Hotel, Kampala
