New Cranes head coach Basena names Squad For CHAN Qualifier Against Rwanda; training to kick off tomorrow

Newly appointed interim coaches of the Uganda Cranes Moses Basena and Fred Kajoba have named a 25-man squad to prepare for the two legged CHAN 2018 qualifiers against rival neighbouring Rwanda. The fixtures are due in August 12 and 18.

Cranes will host the first leg at Viper SC home St. Mary’s Stadium, Kitende before heading to Rwanda a week later.

Basena and Kajoba have also released the training programme which kicks off at 4pm tomorrow Wednesday at Mandela National stadium. Rwanda’s preparations commenced on Monday this very week.

Goalkeepers: Watenga Isma (Vipers SC), Keni Saidi (Proline FC), Ikara Tom (Kirinya Jinja SS), Ochan Benjamin (KCCA FC)

Rest of the squad: Wadada Nicholas (Vipers SC), Adriko John (Sc Villa), Muleme Isaac (KCCA FC), Awanyi Timothy (KCCA FC), Toha Rashid (Onduparaka FC), Kabugo Savio (Proline FC), Muwanga Bernard (Sc Villa Jogoo), Waisswa Moses (Vipers SC), Bukenya Deus (Vipers SC), Kasozi Nicholas (Synergy FC), Mutyaba Muzamir (KCCA FC), Musamali Paul (KCCA FC), Mucureezi Paul (KCCA FC), Serunkuma Simon (SC VIlla), Derick Nsibambi (KCCA FC), Masiko Tom (Vipers SC), Shaban Muhammad (Onduparaka FC), Frank Tumwesigye (Vipers SC), Kagimu Shafiq (URA FC), Erisa Ssekisambu (Vipers Sc).
