In preparation for CHAN qualifiers, Uganda Cranes will today host Tanzania Premier League club Azam FC at St. Mary’s Stadium.

Last Sunday, Interim coach, Moses Basena led the boys to a 2-0 against local league double champions KCCA FC at Namboole.

“The break seems to have worked to my expectations because in today’s training session I observed the players in great shape looking re-energised and seemingly enjoying every bit of it. This kind of response and attitude is going to be crucial in the days leading to the game against Rwanda,” Basena  stated.

Cranes only need to see off Rwanda in the two legged encounter to register themselves in next year’s CHAN finals that will be held in Kenya.
