Caf confirm Morocco as new hosts of 2018 CHAN

The Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) has officially announced Morocco as the new hosts of the fifth edition of the 2018 Africa Nations Championship (CHAN).

The decision to give Morocco the hosting rights ahead of Ethiopia and Equatorial Guinea was taken at the Emergency Committee meeting of CAF on Saturday, October 14 in Lagos hence today morning via their official website the announced Morocco as the new hosts.

Neighbours Kenya who were initially given rights to host the tournament,   were stripped off as Caf claimed their preparations were poorly conducted. Uganda Cranes will feature at the event come next year.
