In a press statement released by the club, it indicates that the rumours are “just rumours”.

“The rumours making rounds about the status of Vipers SC head coach, Miguel Da Costa should be treated as such. There has not been any change of management at the club yet”, part of the statement read.

Vipers SC endured a trophy-less season as rivals KCCA FC took home a double. At the beginning of the season, Vipers SC boss, Lawrence Mulindwa stated the club would run on “operation hakuna mchezo” as another trophy-less season would be “unacceptable”.

Vipers lost 1-2 to URA on home turf in their last encounter.
