Three-time Commonwealth gold medalist Moses Kipsiro yesterday did us proud by finishing second in the 10km Great Manchester Run. The race was won by Britain’s Olympic and World 10,000m champion Mo Farah.

Kipsiro was looked favourite to win the race as he led for nearly 9km but with 100 metres to go, homeboy Farah got re-energized and claimed the win with just a second time difference. 28 minutes 27 seconds for Farah and Kipsiro 28 minutes and 28 seconds.
