Kampala Night Run route confirmed

The organisers of next week’s Tusker Lite Kampala Night Run have confirmed the 2km route for the event. The run which is the first of its kind in Uganda will take place on June 9 under the theme` Lite the night’.



The run which Tusker Lite brand manager Grace Namutebi said is about fusing sport and fun will start and end at Torino Bar in Kololo. According to Ronald Kivumbi, one of the event organisers, runners will leave Torino Bar, head for Hesketh Bell Road and join Acher Road before heading for Upper Kololo. They will then head for Upper Kololo Terrace through Impala Avenue and back to the Lugogo Bypass, rejoin Upper Kololo Terrace and back to Torino. At the finish, winners of different categories will be awarded.

Tickets to the run can be bought at Torino Bar in Kololo, Definition Store at Acacia Mall or online from Quicket.co.ug for Shs30,000.
