Following two weeks of intense preparations in Istanbul, Turkey, the Silverbacks, the Uganda men’s basketball team is in Lagos, Nigeria to tip off their second round World Cup qualifiers.  Uganda will face hosts Nigeria in their opening game of Group B on Friday and will be hoping to bridge the 102-86 loss in the first round.

On Saturday, the boys will back on the court ready to revenge against Mali who we narrowly lost to 76-79 when they hosted the first round in February this year. And on Sunday the Silverbacks play Rwanda, an opponent they enjoyed a 79-63 win over in February.
