Serena JW Open to launch upgraded Kigo golf course

Lake Victoria Serena Golf Resort & Spa, Kigo is set to unveil a new 18-hole golf course in October.

And to launch the course will be the Serena Johnnie Walker Open from October 3-6. Speaking at the launch Mr. Frankline Nyakundi, the resort manager, said golfers can expect only the best facilities that will enhance both the golfing and social aspect of the club.

The golf tourney, to be played on the medal format, will be by invitation only and is expected to feature golfers from around East Africa.

UBL’s Head of Luxury Annette Nakiyaga said; “We are honoured to be part of the launch of such a state of the art facility.

Johnnie Walker rides on the essence of celebrating great experiences and achievements inspired by great journeys.

This is yet another massive expedition in the golf fraternity bound to see the birth of heroes, starting with the Serena Johnnie Walker Open.”
