The opener of the month-long action of AFCON officially kicks off today but Uganda Cranes will have the first feel of Africa’s most prestigious tournament tomorrow Saturday as they take on Democratic Republic of Congo.

President Yoweri Museveni has joined the masses to wish Cranes the best of luck in Egypt as he assured them that the nation is fully behind them.

“I want to wish you the team the best of luck in this tournament. You posted very good results during the qualification where you topped Group L with 13 points,” reads Museveni’s notice in part.
