Renowned events security expert Dixon Adol Okello commonly known as ‘James Bond’ continues to exercise his duties of being an international ‘Askari.’

Having been named among the six senior safety and security officer by the African football governing body, Confederation of African Football (CAF) to head security at the ongoing 2019 AFCON, Okello was yesterday captured by our lens in full charge of security in two big fixtures; Senegal vs Tanzania and Algeria vs Kenya at the 30th  June Stadium.

Okello’s presence at Africa’s most prestigious tournament keeps Uganda’s flag up high with assistant referee, Mark Ssonko also taking part in the month-long championship.

Okello made himself a regular call up candidate by CAF in 2017 when he was given a similar assignment in Gabon. Last month Okello was part of the security team that ensured peaceful engagements in both the CAF Confederation Cup and CAF Champions League games.

He has also on several occasions got gigs from FIFA including the recent FIFA U-20 World Cup.
