Intense fun expected as Kampala host Guinness Night Football this Saturday

After making a series of activations for the past weeks, the real action of Guinness Night Football series begin this Saturday and Forest Mall, Lugogo will host the event that is tipped to offer extraordinary experience.

Over 20 teams around Kampala have already confirmed their participation at the event. The teams will engage in a range of football activities, all played starting 3pm. Some of the football games include; a five a side football match, football skills showcase and Fusball among others.

According to the organizers, each team that will participate in the Five Aside will have a maximum of 8 players (5 on pitch and 3 substitutes). There will also be no gender restrictions, this will help female to play part as a team that fields a female player for a full half earns itself a bonus goal.

Among other rules, substitutions are continuous; a player can leave the pitch and return, no off sides, ball should not be kicked above average shoulder height, handling the ball with hands is prohibited for outfield players, except the goal keeper, If a team is late for more than 5 minutes, the opponents get the points and 2 goals, no studded boots are allowed on the turf.

Besides active football, participants will also be able to take part in fan zone games were winners will be awarded with incredible prizes. Sources also reveal that a lineup of celebrities in both the sports and entertainment circles are set to grace the event.

After Kampala this weekend, the football extravaganza will head to Fort Portal on November 9 before again crossing to Mbale.
