As we thought UCU Canons were throwing in the towel and let City Oilers claim their seventh title in succession on Wednesday this week, the Mukono based side put up a do or die performance that have at least taken the title battle today.
UCU fazed Oilers in game 5 54-52 in a contest that was decide in overtime after both sides tied 47-47 at fulltime. Game 6 of the Tusker Lite National Basketball League final playoffs is on tonight at 7:30pm inside the MTN Indoor Arena, Lugogo. UCU will be hoping for another fire-spitting performance against the six time defending champions so that they can level the series and take it to the wire.
The best of series final stand at 3-2 and Oilers only want to win this game to claim another historic seventh title. For UCU, they have to win all the remaining two games to be able to pull a memorable new decade comeback.
