StarTimes to broadcast Europa League semi-final games

StarTimes, the exclusive broadcaster of the UEFA Europa League, will broadcast the semi-final matches between Sevilla and Manchester United on Sunday at 10pm; while Inter Milan will battle Shakhtar Donetsk on Monday at 10 pm and then the competition will come to an end on August 21.

That’s not all, the 2020/21 Europa League season will kick off on August 20 with the qualification round. Then, the following week on August 29, StarTimes will air FA Community Shield taking place at Wembley Stadium. It will be contested between Premier League winners Liverpool and the winners of the 2020 FA Cup, Arsenal.

From September 3, StarTimes will air the UEFA Nations League. The second edition of UEFA’s newest national-team competition will begin with great clashes such as Germany vs. Spain, Sweden against France and titleholder Portugal vs. Croatia.

StarTimes recently acquired LaLiga broadcasting rights (French commentary) for four seasons. The exciting Spanish league will be showed on the StarTimes sport channels starting from the first 20120/21 season match day on September 12.

Through ESPN, StarTimes also broadcast The English Football League Championship (EFL), Major League Soccer (MLS), Belgian Pro League, Netherlands Eredivisie; Basketball tourneys – NBA and The Euro League.

Adding La Liga and UEFA Nations League to our bouquet will not only excite our customer but also give them more options at an affordable and convenient subscription,” said Isma Lule, the Marketing Director.
