TOKYO OLYMPICS: Winnie Nanyondo pulls out ‘Kiganda’ dance strokes after storming women’s 1500m final

Winnie Nanyondo has wiped away her tears of painfully missing out on the women’s 800m final by qualifying for the women’s 1500m final.

Nanyondo has finished fourth in Heat that started at 1:12pm after posting 4:01.64. Excited Nanyondo pulled out the ‘Kiganda’ dance after making it to the final.

Heat 2 has been won by Netherlands’ Sifan Hassan who posted 4:00.23. United Kingdom’s Laura Muir came second with 4:00.73 while Linden Hall from Australia came third in 4:01.37.
