Uganda U-20 defender Torach Ochaki and forward Rogers Mugisha have been included in the AFCON U-20 Best XI of the group stage after inspirational performances for the Hippos.

Senegal has the most representation (four) on the best XI of the group stage. This is no surprise, as Senegal won all three group-stage games and was the highest goal-scoring team.

Both the Central African Republic and Uganda have two representatives. Benin Republic, Gambia, and Nigeria have one each.
