JKL Lady Dolphins complete epic comeback, clinch second straight WNBL title in Game 6 thriller

The JKL Lady Dolphins have triumphed once again, clinching their second consecutive Women’s National Basketball League (WNBL) championship after an intense Game 6 victory over the UCU Lady Canons at the Lugogo Indoor Arena. JKL Lady Doplhins have defeated UCU Lady Canons 68 – 56.

With this win, the Lady Dolphins have now secured their fourth overall league title. Their championship journey this season has been nothing short of remarkable. After finding themselves down 2-0 in the best-of-seven series, they mounted an incredible comeback, winning four straight games to not only turn the series around but also dominate their way to the title.

Rita Imanishimwe delivered an outstanding performance in Game 6, leading the charge with 19 points and 9 rebounds. Meanwhile, Hope Akello, who was rightfully named the league’s Most Valuable Player (MVP), contributed a solid 10 points and 6 rebounds, rounding out an all-around team effort.
