As part of the Explore Uganda series, Explore West was alive on its day 2 as the many numbers traversed various areas before finally camping at Queen Elizabeth National Park.

While here, Comedians Patrick Idring AKA Salvado, Madrat and Chicco among others who also doubled as top influencers on the campaign served revelers to an overdose of laughter in a comedy night show.

It was a once in lifetime experience because unlike many times where comedians rehearse their skits, this edition was quite different because the jokes cracked were from within and around the trail, something that made it more relatable.

One of those jokes that stood out came from the comedy duo Madrat and Chiko – with Chicco advising his comedy partner madrat to use the crossover through the kazinga channel to the Virunga mountains on the other side of Congo as these areas harbor people of the same height and resemblance with him.

After the comedy show, the big numbers were treated to a dance party experience before they retired to rest in preparation for Friday, Day 3 of the trail where they moved to Kasese and later Fortportal City.

Prior to the comedy show, Day 2 of #ExploreWest campaign started off with a visit to Mugaba Palace from where, Hon. Martin Mugara Bahinduka, State Minister for Tourism officially saw the entire team off to Queen Elizabeth National Park, a trail that had various stop-overs with influencers interacting with the locals in the communities.

The campaign that kicked off on Wednesday will go until Sunday. Organized by the Ministry of Tourism and its partners, the 5-day event aims at boosting local tourism in the Western region of Uganda
