Wife of man who was killed after allegedly attempting to burn Cafe Javas speaks out

Tech guru, 32-year-old Revence Kato Kalibwani met his death in very disturbing circumstances yesterday evening after he allegedly attempted to set Cafe Javas on fire. According to reports the late Kalibwani came on a motorcycle to the newly opened Cafe Javas on Jinja Road (formerly Nandos) with a jerrycan of petrol at around 4:30pm before he allegedly emptied the content on the food court and threatened to set the place ablaze. Reports allege that people intercepted and beat him to near death before he was pronounced dead in Mulago after police intervened.

The widow, Ella Kalibwani in her Facebook has stated that she is receiving varying reports about the incident and is not sure of what really took place.

“Some people are saying he was in Javas and had happened to have petrol for his bike that was parked outside and someone said something and people freaked. Honestly there are alot of stories going around”, she stated.

The late is survived by two children; a boy and a girl. RIP.
