Court orders for unconditional release of Investigator News journalists

Nakawa Court Chief Magistrate Noah Ssejjabi has ordered for the unconditional release of Investigator News journalists; Robert and Stanley Ndawula.

The court order seen by this website instructs that the duo should either be produced before court if they have case(s) to answer or be released immediately since they have been detained beyond the constitutional 48 hours.

The duo were arrested after publishing series of investigative stories that criticizes the police leadership.
