For diners craving a proper, no-fuss meal, News Café at Speke Apartments Kitante has a grilled beef steak worth the visit.

Served with a choice of accompaniment — including their well-loved fries and a fresh side salad — the steak comes grilled to order and finished with a herb and pepper garnish. It’s paired with a glass of red wine or a mocktail, giving diners the option to unwind with something classic or keep it light, depending on the hour and the company.

The steak is available during lunch hours, from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM, and goes for UGX 45,000. It’s part of the regular menu at News Café, which has become something of a go-to spot within the Speke Apartments Kitante grounds for a relaxed meal, whether for guests staying at the apartments or Kampala residents looking for a quiet lunch spot away from the city noise.
