As China reopens business after months of lockdown that was caused by the Coronavirus pandemic that broke out in Wuhan, Hubei, Ugandans, Africans and blacks in general find themselves locked out of their rented apartments by Chinese landlords.

According to the short video clips seen by Matooke Republic, Ugandans, Kenyans, Nigerians and people from other African countries are seen roaming the streets in China with their suitcases after being evicted, and others denied entry into some restaurants.

According to source in China who is in contact with people going through this experience, they are being evicted and labelled “coronavirus carriers”, forced into quarantine by authorities at their own cost, even when they test negative for the virus.

In the recent past, China has positioned herself as Africa’s best friend, giving development loans and funding mega infrastructural developments in exchange to Africa becoming a major trading partner for the Far East Asian country.

Watch the video here.

The Chinese freely roam on the African soil without getting any form of discrimination from Africans, so it is quite appalling that some of them are doing this to Africans in their cities, more so at a time when almost every country has inbound flights cancelled for passengers in the fight against coronavirus.
