Ministers and members of the ruling party NRM are currently on a retreat that started yesterday at the National Leadership Institute in Kyankwanzi.

And one of the key figures at the retreat is former opposition leader Betty Olive Namisango Kamya, now Kampala Minister.

Kamya is famous for having been overly critical of the Kyankwanzi caucus meetings during her days in FDC and later as the leader of her Federal Alliance party.

Back then, Kamya criticized NRM leaders for ‘misusing tax payers’ money to purchase army fatigue for their retreats.

However, after accepting a ministerial post in the NRM gov’t, Kamya seems to be chewing her words.

Kamya is currently one of the tens of politicians donning on the army fatigue- the very ones she badmouthed back then, at the ongoing NRM retreat in Kyankwanzi.

News coming our way indicates that the retreat is set to discuss constitutional reforms that will majorly focus on muscling through Parliament to lift the 75-year presidential age limit.
