Indian Prime Minister Modi to address Parliament on historic visit next week

India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the Parliament of Uganda during his historic visit to next week.

Deputy Speaker Jacob Oulanya who made the revelation Tuesday’s sitting also noted that President Museveni will attend the sitting as well. 

The highly anticipated address will take place on Wednesday, July 25, at 10 am.

As a matter of precaution, no Member of Parliament or staff will park at the House. 

Oulanya also informed that Parliament will not sit on Tuesday 24 but implored members to turn up for the address. 

PM Modi and a business delegation from India will jet into the country on July 24.
