NRM PRIMARIES: Sub county registrar killed in Tororo election violence

As the ruling party National Resistance Movement (NRM) flag bearer elections are on-going in different parts of the country. The highly competitive elections have been coupled with cases of violence and death.

Earlier today the elections in Bukono constituency, Namutumba District were suspended after an agent of one of the contenders Persis Namuganza was killed.   Hours later, another latest case has been registered in Tororo North County.

Following an election violence,the sub county registrar Mukuju chief Oketcho Sinambio has been killed and another person seriously injured at a polling station of Okworoto A in Akworoto parish, Tororo County.
