Presidential nominations kick off today

The Electoral Commission today starts nominations for presidential candidates.

The commission’s acting spokesperson Paul Bukenya says the two-day exercise kicks off at 10am- until 5pm at the gazzetted Kyambogo University.

Five aspirants have been cleared to be nominated today and these include; incumbent President Yoweri Museveni (10am), Gen. Henry Tumukunde (1pm), Katumba John (2pm), Mugisha Muntu (3pm) and Nalembe Nancy Linda (4pm).

Tomorrow five more candidates will be also nominated and these are Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine, Mayambala Willy, Amuriat Oboi Patrick, Mwesigye Fred and Kabuleeta Kiiza Joseph.
