The ruling party National Resistance Movement has held a procession in Kotido today ahead of their presidential candidate Yoweri Museveni’s rally.

The supporters that swarmed the Kaguta road in Kotido were chanting Museveni’s name and were not following the Electoral Commission guidelines. The excited supporters took it to the streets to celebrate.

This comes a day after the National Unity Platform presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi was arrested in Luuka district for reportedly  defying the Ec guidelines.
