Following yesterday’s free Bobi Wine protests that paralysed business in the city centre and led to the death of seven people, the Minister for ICT and Information has issued a statement condemning the acts of violence that transpired.

Hon. Nabakooba also asked the youth to desist from riots and warned that the death toll could increase.

“I would like to condemn in the strongest way these unfortunate incidences. Starting fire in the middle of the road, looting attacking others because of different political ideologies is wrong and should be condemned by everyone,” stated Hon. Nabakooba.
